Celebrate Christmas - One Page Layout
Supplies:
*Deja Views Flurries and Frost Papers, chose 3 patterns
*Bazzill Bling Cardstock in Black and Bazzill cardstock in Aloe and White.
*Santa and Reindeer Jolee
*Celebrate enTITLEment from Scrap'n Nook
*Flexible Ruler from Deja Views
*Irridescent Gold Glimmer Mist
*Corner Rounder
*Scissors
*Vanishing Ink Pen
Instructions:
1) Cut a 2 1/2" x 11" strip of the red pattern paper for the top border. Then round the two top corners with a corner rounder.
2) Cut a 3" x 7" strip for the journaling block from the green cardstock.
3) Here is the tricky part: Use your paper trimmer or a ruler and a craft knife to cut your chosen patterns at an angle. The angle I used followed the line of the paper, but if your paper does not have a design a 45 degree angle will work. The larger sections are an 1" x 2" and the small strips are 1/4" x 2". Adapt your sizes as necessary, but keep an odd number of strips as this visually looks better.

HINT: Once you have the angle you need use that piece as your pattern.

4) Cut a 2 1/2" x 11" strip of white cardstock.
5) Glue the top border, your top photo, and the top 3-4 angled pieces to the page to the page leaving a half inch border on the top and outer sides.
6) Crop your photos to fit into the center space. The lower photo should only be cropped wideth wise for the moment.
7) Adhere the rest of the pieces using repositionable adhesive.
8) Adjust your flexible ruler to have a few soft curves (You may have to adjust the curves a round items or faces in your photo.) and using a Vanishing Ink Pen draw the curves onto your pieces. Cut each piece to match the line and glue into place, except for the white strip.
9) Before gluing the white border check the size and adjust accordingly by shaving off the straight bottom edge. Once the fit is correct round the two bottom corners.
10) The Santa and Reindeer Jolee will need to be cut apart to be able to stretch across the page. I just used scissors and gently went around each piece to eliminate the plastic backing and separate the pieces.

IDEA: Use this year's Christmas cards to make the angled border. Remember to journal who the cards came from.
